Policy Manager, Alzheimer’s Research UK

Isolde is a Policy Manager in the Policy and Public Affairs Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity, developing evidence-based policy to ensure people affected by dementia benefit from progress in research. Isolde has a particular interest in ensuring health systems can adapt to enable patients to receive an earlier and more accurate diagnosis of dementia, and benefit from access to new disease-modifying treatments when they become available.

Prior to working at Alzheimer’s Research UK, Isolde has a decade of experience working with senior academic leaders in the chemical sciences, chemistry researchers and higher education teachers. Her career has spanned policy areas including economic impact, UK and EU funding and regulation, international collaboration and immigration, university-business collaboration, inclusion and diversity and EU Exit.
